Join The Waterloo Public Library and The Laurelwood Neighbourhood Association to welcome spring in a creative and colourful way! Learn some art skills, interact with other neighbours of Laurelwood and unleash your creativity under the guidance of professional artist Megha Birmiwal. 🌷

There will be supplies and activities for all ages – no previous art experience necessary!

Namaste, 🙏 my name is Linda Chamberlain. I have lived in the Laurelwood neighbourhood for over 20 years. I am a Yoga Alliance certified 250 hr yoga instructor, and have been practicing yoga for over 10 years. Yoga and breathwork (pranayama) are my personal passion. I offer weekly free yoga practices through the Laurelwood Neighbourhood Association, and the City of Waterloo, at the University Gates. Practices take place in the Town Hall Room on Mondays from 7 to 8 PM. I guide a slow flow somatic Hatha-based yoga asana. If you are interested in adding a yoga practice to your fitness endeavours, please come out to join your neighbours. Just bring a mat. Although chairs are available to help, the practice requires that you are able to get up and down from the mat independently.

The Laurelwood Neighbourhood Association (LNA) represents the interests of local residents and is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to building community spirit. We organize neighbourhood events and share important information to help keep residents connected and informed about Laurelwood and the City of Waterloo.
